The job
Experienced Stone Machine Technician role in Campbellfield, VIC with a leading kitchen designer and manufacturer. Maintain, troubleshoot and service the factory's CNC stone-cutting machinery — bridge saws, waterjets and polishing lines — to keep a busy production floor running smoothly.
Your key duties
- Service, maintain and troubleshoot CNC bridge saws, waterjets and polishing equipment
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults
- Plan and execute preventative maintenance schedules
- Carry out repairs to minimise production downtime
- Liaise with machine manufacturers and parts suppliers
- Maintain maintenance records and update procedures
- Train operators on basic machine care
What you'll need
- Industrial CNC machine technician experience (stone industry preferred)
- Electrical + mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge
- Ability to read electrical/mechanical schematics
- Self-motivated under production pressure
