The job
An established Melbourne stonemason and cladding specialist in the western suburbs is looking for an experienced Site Foreman to lead on-site stone and tile installations across residential and commercial projects.
You'll run the job on site — coordinating installers and trades, setting the standard for finish quality, and making sure every project is delivered on time, safe and defect-free. This is a role for someone who has come up through the tools in stone or tile and is ready to take charge of the site.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead and coordinate install crews and subcontract trades on site
- Set out and supervise stone benchtop, cladding and tile installations
- Own quality control — check finishes, manage defects and handovers
- Read plans and drawings, set out work and confirm site measures
- Keep sites safe, tidy and compliant (SWMS, White Card)
- Liaise with builders, clients and the fabrication workshop
- Keep projects on schedule and report progress to management

What you'll need
- Proven experience as a foreman or leading hand in stone or tile
- Strong knowledge of benchtop, cladding and/or tile installation
- Able to read plans, set out work and run site measures
- Confident leading crews and coordinating trades on site
- Sharp eye for finish quality, defects and handovers
- Current White Card and driver's licence
- Reliable, organised and safety-focused
