The job
CNC Bridge Saw Operator role in Truganina, Melbourne with a family-run, market-leading stonemasonry business. You'll run their GMM bridge saw — both operating it manually and writing the programs — cutting premium natural stone for residential and commercial projects across Victoria.
Your key duties
- Operate the GMM bridge saw manually for cutting jobs
- Program the GMM — write, load and adjust cutting programs for each job
- Cut natural stone accurately to drawings and cutting lists
- Select tooling and set parameters for each material
- Quality-check cut pieces before they move to fabrication
- Carry out routine machine maintenance
- Follow silica-safety and OH&S procedures
What you'll need
- Minimum 5 years' CNC bridge saw experience in stone
- GMM experience — manual operation and programming
- Confident reading drawings and cutting lists
- Natural stone, porcelain and sintered stone experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and safety-conscious
