The job
Stone Benchtop Installer role in Newcastle with a long-established stone fabricator. Install premium natural stone, porcelain and sintered stone benchtops on high-end residential and commercial projects across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens and the Central Coast.
You don't need to be a lead installer — if you've got solid install experience and take pride in a clean finish, they want to hear from you.
Your key duties
- Install stone benchtops, splashbacks and vanities on site
- Level, scribe, join and silicone finished stone to a high standard
- Handle and transport slabs safely with the install team
- Carry out on-site cut-outs and adjustments as needed
- Liaise with clients, builders and site supervisors
- Follow silica-safety and OH&S procedures
What you'll need
- Proven stone benchtop installation experience
- Current driver's licence (essential)
- Confident with hand tools and on-site fabrication
- Natural stone, porcelain and sintered stone experience
- Strong eye for detail and clean joins
- Reliable and professional on site
