The job
Stonemason Leading Hand role with a stonework specialist in NSW. Oversee team members on the production process while staying hands-on with fabrication and check-measuring.
Your key duties
- Fabrication of stone benchtops using natural stone, porcelain, Dekton and Zero silica
- Cutting, shaping and polishing using waterjet, CNCs and hand tools (training given)
- Overseeing and supporting team members in production
- Check measuring and templating of jobs as required
- All aspects of fabrication including glueing, polishing and laminating
- Liaise with customers when required
- Packing slabs onto A-frames for delivery
- Follow OH&S directions
What you'll need
- Stonemasonry trade qualification or proven experience
- Strong understanding of fabrication process
- Benchtop install experience (commercial & residential)
- Highly proficient in reading plans
- Driving licence and White Card
- Full Australian working rights
