The job
Lead Stone Benchtop Installer role in Newcastle, NSW. You'll be the primary on-site contact, liaising with builders, cabinet makers and high-end clients — clear and confident communication is essential.
Your key duties
- Lead and oversee stone benchtop installations on residential and commercial projects
- Communicate with architects, cabinet makers, builders and clients
- Measure, template and install benchtops with high attention to detail
- Operate stone fabrication equipment and hand tools for polishing and adjustments
- Troubleshoot on-site technical issues
- Support and guide junior installers or apprentices
What you'll need
- Trade qualification or extensive stonemasonry experience
- 5+ years installing stone benchtops
- Strong plan-reading and measurement skills
- Excellent communication and professionalism
- Full working rights (sponsorship available)
